LA Fashion Week @ SUR
Last night, October 20th 2013 was the official LA Fashion Week Accessory Showcase at SUR Lounge in West Hollywood, California. Jordana and I put this "accessory showcase" concept together to create a platform for emerging designers ready to take their collections to market. This is the only *accessory only* showcase that took place during fashion week. We have produced over 15 events around this country this year, and it has been such an amazing journey. We've met some of the most talented designers in the industry, and it is so wonderful to help them along the path to great success.
I am always scouting the latest and greatest accessory designers and upcoming brands, I could not be happier with the selection of hand picked talent we put together last night. All of these designers were chosen for a specific purpose, we see their vision and believe in their brand. I would not work with anyone that I wasn't completely passionate about, and I would literally wear every designer here. It is so hard to be an emerging designer in this industry with so much competition and sacrfrices. I am so proud of all of these brands, and I am looking forward to watching them grow and see them on shelves and displays in every major boutique/department store soon.
